At Junction 24 of the M62 take the A629 signed to Halifax.
Go down the hill (Huddersfield Road which turns into Calderdale Way) and take the first sliproad signed for Elland.
Keep left along Elland-Riorge Link to the small roundabout.
Take the right signed for Stainland along Wakefield Road which then becomes Briggate after crossing Church Street.
Pass the Bridge Public House on the left and soon after turn left into Saddleworth Road (where the main road turns right over Elland Bridge). Pass under an enclosed bridge with the sign of Pennine Yarn Dying on it.After about 200 yards Riverside Mills is accessed on the right of Saddleworth Road. The Viewpoint sign is small. Look for Robinson and Hanson or Westholme.
The Visitors car park is on the right immediately through the gate.

Both Halifax and Huddersfield train stations are within 5 miles of Viewpoint.
