To install Viewpoint Offline you require a serial number, this can be found on the back of the CD wallet. If you do not have a serial number, contact Viewpoint. You will also need to be logged in as an Administrator on the PC where you are installing Viewpoint Offline.

1. To install Viewpoint Offline from CD

Insert the Viewpoint Offline setup CD into your CD ROM Drive. The installshield wizard should automatically start and guide you through the installation.

If the installshield wizard does not automatically start you can start it manually, to do this:

· Open “My Computer” and double click the CD Rom Drive icon. This will open the CD.

· You should see a “setup.exe” file. Double click on this to start the install.

2. To install Viewpoint Offline from the Viewpoint Online Downloads Page

Go to http://www.vptol.co.uk/download in Internet Explorer and download the latest Viewpoint Offline setup. If you have a previously installed version of Viewpoint Offline you may need to uninstall this first. To download the latest Viewpoint Offline setup:

· Click on the link to download the Viewpoint Offline setup, the “File Download” window will pop up.

· Click on the “Save” button and the “Save As” window will pop up.

· Select a location for the download (for example the desktop) and click on the “Save” button. The download will now start and the download progress window will pop up.

· When the downloaded is complete, double click on the Viewpoint Offline setup icon to start the installation. The installshield wizard should start and guide you through the installation.
